never thought of that, good point.
But its also easier to win a playoff GAME in baseball than it is in football. The Lions have won more playoff games than the Rangers and have made the playoffs more times. They have 4 NFL championships, even though they are very old.

The Bruins won a cup in 72. The Cardinals have only been to the playoffs 8 times in their history.

No, no they aren't. There are teams who have never been to the super bowl or Stanley cup finals. There are even teams who haven't been to the playoffs. To say the bruins or cardinals are worst in their leagues is laughable. To say they're worse than the rangers is flat out ridiculous. Put down the pipe man. I love the rangers. But they're probably the worst franchise in all of pro sports. With the exception of maybe the clippers. I'm looking at the big picture...not counting for single good runs, like the Cardinals had. Never said they were worse than the Rangers. Those are listed by league.

The Bruins won a cup in 72. The Cardinals have only been to the playoffs 8 times in their history. The Rangers have only been to the playoffs 3 times and are 1-9 in the playoffs. How do you figure the Rangers are better than the Bruins or the Cardinals?

Correct my baseball list. Rangers are worst. But, have a much shorter history.

I'd go Lions, Cardinals. Pirates, Royals, Rangers. Hawks, Grizzlies, Clippers. Bruins. In order from worst to best of the worst. You weren't going by league. and the Rangers have NEVER had a one year run. I would take a one year run. They rarely even have half a year runs.

If you look at MLB since the Rangers/Senators franchise was started the Rangers are still the worst.
Nearly 50 years and one playoff win and only 3 playoff appearances. ouch.

smite to sully for bad logic, a terrible list, and blatant homerism.

The Bruins won a cup in 72. The Cardinals have only been to the playoffs 8 times in their history. Didn't the Bruins just win one recently during the New England domination era with the Sox, Pats, and Celts?

They have won 5 Stanley cups, the last one was in 1972.
They have been to 13 total Stanley cup finals, the last one was in 1990.
Once again, far from the worst franchise in the league.

New list
Clippers (worst), Rangers, Lions.
Clippers get moved to worst considering how easy it is to make the playoffs in basketball. Rangers move to second to last and the Lions to third to last based on how difficult it is to win a playoff game in the NFL.

I think its Rangers or Clippers take your pick, and that's the end of the list.
