First, I think it would be a lot more accurate to look at the drawings without all those people in them. We all know there will never be actual people in them, so why draw them that way?
Now that I have my obligatory jab out of the way:
I think it looks awesome. It looks very Kyle field esque with the 3 decks and the steep grade. I think it would be a great venue.

The east side does look like Kyle Field and I like that aspect of it but the home side looks weird with those open areas leading to the concourse. The main concourse will go all the way around which is kind of neat but there's just too much negative space on the home side. Instead of getting to my seats now, as Fischer knows, I'll have to go up to the club level concourse and go down from there. It's just a pain. I guess I'm spoiled. I do like the enclosing of the north endzone and once both sides are complete the next project would be bowling it off from the 3rd deck, if need dictates. The east side will be started on immediately after the last home game to be completed by the season opener in 2011. After the last game in 2011 the west side will be torn down and finished by the 2012 season. It will be a complete ground up renovation. The FTW Bowl will be at SMU for the next two years.
Framp, I hope so b/c it would look like a joke if there are only 30k but they can barely draw 40k now with the most expensive ticket being $35 and the cheapest $10. I don't see 40k people paying even $75 to see this game. OSU MIGHT bring 5k but even the Frog faithful aren't too happy about the ticket prices. At least it's considered a road game and we get 6 more at home and then 1 at SMU.

If you build it, they will come....right? Go big or go home.
I really hope TCU can fill this many seats one day, but how? What happens when they start losing again? It's bound to happen.

Those ticket prices are high but still less than the Ark/Aggie game. Dang rich ole Aggies running the price up on everybody!

George in that hardhat is classic. What a noggin on that guy!
I am just about to declare the Mean Green as my official team in the state of Texas. I figure to get in on the ground floor and ride the wave to next year's SunBelt championship!

Wonder why George's love of the Mean Green didn't take with his kids?

Todd Dodge will never coach North Texas in that new stadium.

I stand corrected. I know he has one kid that goes to UA.
Re-thinking the Ag's, might need to go with someone more local. TCU/SMU is not an option. I figure Sully is making a big donation and I got to stay on his good side to sit in that Sully suite.
