Well, my thoughts on opening day:
1. I was impressed with Feldman. Good outing despite giving up the 2 HR's. I thought he made good pitches on those, sometimes you just have to tip your cap.
2. Over/under on games for Vlad is 100. Guys legs are gone. No HR's this spring. Damn you Tom Hicks for bankrupting this team and not being able to resign Marlon Byrd.
3. Washington coke-head move of the game came in the 9th when he failed to pinch run for Vlad when he was at first. Luckily, Vlad didn't hurt himself going first to third on Cruz's hit. Nolan or somebody must have sent word to him after that because he pinch ran for him at third. (let it be noted Matt called this as well) Also Murphy should have pinch hit for Salty instead of running for Vlad. Yes salty came thru this time, but that was very fortunate.
4. This Kinsler injury is concerning. Something is going on that is not being made public.
5. Great win, looked like fun times at the Ballpark.

I think it was uncalled for to constantly brag about free food and booze while taking yet another day off while attending opening day.

Catching the Astros win this year might be tough. They're only going to have about 60-65 of them.
