Its not that I think he is the greatest thing since my birth its just that I don't know where people get off sayin he sucks and needs to be outa here. Yes he hasn't won the big games, but that's a whole team problem. If we didn't have Romo, December wouldn't have even mattered the last few years cause they wouldn't be in it at that point. I just don't know where people think they will find someone with his kinda stats anywhere else. The rest of the team on offense and defense isn't neargood enough to have a trent dilfer or brad johnson. I know people will say he hasn't won a playoff but just look at his numbers. Look what happened when brad j was in the game last year. Many teams would take his productiion and I think he would have some post season wins on other teams. The late season owboys is a whole nother story.

Did Tony let you off of his nuts long enough to type that or do you have a lap top?

just kidding. I get what you are saying. But I think what everyone else is saying is they don't just want someone with stats, they want a Troy Aikman who steps up and puts the team on his shoulders in big games.

We Texan fans have the same sort of problem with our quarterback. He puts up gaudy numbers but when it matters he seems to always throw to the other team. Sure he has had big games for us, those big games just never come against big time teams. I would trade the gaudy numbers for a guy who performs in the clutch and will put the team on his shoulders and will them to a W. And neither Texas football team seems to have one

Brett Favre does the same thing. Puts up great numbers but throws so many effing interceptions it's unreal. Schaub's been sucking it up as of late, though. The Texans can dominate in the first half but then they just can't pull the trigger second half. It's like the team has a mental breakdown during the half. It's frustrating as hell as a fan.
I call them my abusive boyfriend. They say that they love you and want you and need you, but mentally abuse the hell out of you, at times they cause you physical pain, and they say that they'll change ("there's always next year"....or "this is the year") but never do.

Brett Favre has thrown 27 TD's and 6 int's this year. That is the highest TD to INT ratio in the league.
He is also has the 3rd or 4th fewest INT's in the league this year.

He has thrown more TD's than any QB in the history of football. He's a gun slinger. There will be some INT's.
Favre has won many many big games over his career. He is on an entirely different level than Romo who is on an entirely differnt level than Schaub.

Yea I understand we need a big game winner but its not like you can just go out and pick one up off the street. He is still somewhat early in his career and I just don't think you can give up on someone like that. Not that I think romo is anywhere near manning but people didn't think he could finish seasons out either. Again, I'm not putting them on the same level, just making a point about another qb.

Romo is not early in his career. He is in the middle, closer to the end than the beginning.

He has been in the league for 6 seasons. Most NFL QB's don't last 10 years. That is more than half of his career already gone.

I hate eli and his attitude. He's a cry baby, and just one of those spoiled kids.
But, give me him on the field over romo.
