Wade is a lame duck. No way he keeps his job even if the Cowboys make the playoffs.
So who do y'all think will be the coach next year? My money is on Bob Stoops.

I say John Gruden. I think he wants it bad cause he was on his knees while he was talking about the Cowboys during their last Monday night game.

Good call, although he had a tough time with Al Davis. And Al and JJ share more than a few similarities.

Congrats to the Cowboys. They won zero playoff games this decade. Better luck in the teens.

I don't think it will be Gruden. He isn't a Jerry type guy (although I think he's awesome). I want Gruden to be the next coach at Texas A&M (I know that will never happen). Gruden just signed an extension with MNF. I think he wants to sit it out a little while longer.
My list of possibles:
Holmgren- good buddies with jerry Shanahan- seems like he would fit Stoops- Has always been rumored and would fit with Jerry's hiring style. He might want a change soon too. Kowher- probably wouldn't come, but could be lured with $$$$ Dungy- wouldn't do it unless Jerry has dirt on him Herm Edwards- kind of intriguing, but doesn't seem like a Jerry hire Some spare coordinator we know nothing about ala Campo, Gailey, Wade

No way Kowher comes with out full control over personnel, which ain't going to happen. Herm Edwards is interesting, but not a good hire in my mind. What about Garret? The O has improved this year in terms of yards gained, they have just struggled to put points on the board.

Garrett would be pretty underwhelming. But, who knows? He might end up being great.

I want nothing to do with Garrett, Holmgren, or some spare coordinator.
Edwards is iffy. All others, I would welcome.

Whoever it is...I hope they push the need to acquire a new QB.

Holmgren would be a great hire. Why would you not want a guy who has been a perennial winner, has been to two super bowls, and won a super bowl as a head coach? He'd be a great fit in Dallas.

Whoever it is, Romo will be the QB for Dallas for at least 2-3 more years.

Yea let's get rid of a qb that half other teams in the league would take in a heartbeat and put ourselves back to where we weren't in a position to at least play for something in December. I of course think we should try and draft one that could be the future but don't you think if it were that easy to just go get another qb then TB wouldn't have started 3 this year and Oak would have made their first overall pick into a pro bowler and the browns and the bills and etc......

Dang, looks like Craig has a bit of soft spot for ol' Romo.
