Favre does have the most TDs in NFL history, but you have to remember, he also has thrown more INTs that any QB in NFL history.

yes, but he also wins big games. There is no comparison to Shaub and Romo with Favre.
Here is a fact for you Framp: the average career of an NFL player who makes the roster is less than 2 yrs. Yes, QB's last longer. But for every player like Favre there are 10 guys who don't last that long. 10 yrs is an extremely long time for any NFL player. They decline extremely fast and abruptly. So, to answer your question, yes. I believe out of those QB's you mentioned, most of them won't last more than 10 or so yrs.

I don't like that stat necessarly cause that takes into account spares that don't make it. We are talking about QBs who are their Franchises QB. Not your jamarcus Russels and David Carrs. That stat doesn't apply to the situation of a QB that have proven themselves or started more then a couple of years.

I get what Craig is saying, but you are making it sound like Romo is the only decent player on offense. Romo has had more weapons and a better O line than 75% of the teams in the NFL while he has been a starter, yet has nothing but stats to show for it. If he was playing for the Browns or the Raiders I could understand, but he plays for the Dallas Cowboys and has more options than just about any other QB in the league and still can't get it done.
As Fischer said, Romo is without a doubt on the backside of his career. What has he done so far to merit more time? Better to start rebuilding now than wait 3-4 more years and have to start then.

I think you stick with Romo for 2 more years and give Champ a shot. If he isn't developing then draft someone and make sure you draft well.
And yes, Romo has as many or more weapons as almost anyone in the league.

I hope McGee is the man. We'll get a chance to see him sooner than later, I'm sure.

That would be freaking awesome if he was the savior of the franchise.

That would make things interesting down the stretch, but I can't buy into it.
It would be pretty dang cool, and I hope it happens.

I have been feeling a Cowboy win over the FEMA check cashers all week. It makes no sense but I got a feeling.
Jerry has the QB of the future down on his farm team. I just hope he doesn't call him up this year.

If Mallett comes out this year, it won't be with the Cowboys.
All the more reason for him to come out this year. By all accounts that guy is a prick. He is a lot better than I ever thought he would be, though, I'll give him that. He is good.
I just don't want to have to cheer for him.
