I am becoming less and less impressed with Florida.
I think Alabama has a great chance of beating them.

If Bama can get average QB play out of McElroy, I think they beat Florida. They are the only team I have seen that can surpass Florida as far as athletic ability.

You are right about McElroy. He has played terrible every time I have seen them.
But their defense is so good, and they have playmakers on O if they can just get the ball to them.

I'm really not impressed with any of the top three but I'd give 'Bama the edge because of their defense.

of course you aren't impressed. But you are impressed with TCU who hasn't beaten anyone even near the caliber that the top three have beaten.
you are not exactly objective.

The jersey is meh. The only acceptable feature of the helmet is the TCU font. Red is not a part of TCU, unbeeeeeelievable! The pants are possibly the worst I have ever seen on a football uniform. If I were a fan of TCU, I would be ashamed to see my team wearing that uniform. The red is to signify the blood coming out of a horned frogs eyes when attacked. Come on, Mike, you knew that! I know you may not like them but this is the future of college football uniforms. The more I see them the more jazzed I get. Fischer, you may not like them either but I guarantee that your kids would be all geeked up to wear these if y'all had something like this made for them. I have a co-worker who was on the '05 OU team and he said it's one of the coolest uniforms he's ever seen. He even jokingly said that TCU is his team now since OU is "pathetic." Here's a few links: procombat.nikemedia.com/index.php?team=texas_christian#/photoswww.nike.com/nikeos/p/usnikefootball/en_US/rivalries09?school=tcu&tab=uniformThat's all he talked about Sat night. 'If Texas will lose...' How would you know? You turned into a pumpkin at 9:15.

You can "guarantee" all you want. There may be a couple of kids that would like those god awful atrocities, but most of our kids would hate them.
You are very out of touch with reality.

If Bama loses, then beats Florida in the championship game, they would still be in the BCS championship game. Same with Florida.

You think TCU could beat those top 3 teams? I think they can hang. I expected to be 9-0 at this point but I didn't expect them to be this dominant on every side of the ball. They lost 7 starters from the #1 defense in 08 and are #3 now and were #1 before last Saturday. The offense has really come around (#8). The OC leaving for Illinois was the best thing that could happen. Dalton is playing phenomenal; well above how I ever thought he'd play. Their depth is outstanding. The only area they're thin in is CB but the pass rush helps cover that weakness. They only lose 4 starters to graduation. I'm not saying they'd beat all three but I think they have the talent to play with them and a TCU victory shouldn't surprise anyone.

If Bama loses, then beats Florida in the championship game, they would still be in the BCS championship game. Same with Florida. I agree. A one loss SEC team would get the nod over a one loss Texas team. If Texas loses, they're done.
