Lot of activity. Two does and their fawns just came through. Can't bring myself to shoot one with young ones yet. Then a yearling spike crossed behind me. Then Jim, the 9 point I saw last weekend stepped out. We had a stare down at 30 yds. He eased off. Can't shoot him quite yet. Maybe later. Good to know he is coming around. Damn goats have arrived

Just had another doe and fawn come in. Then a solo older doe. As soon as I got her in the crosshairs they all bolted. Never looked up. No idea what spooked em. Still real windy

I saw an older Doe way, way off. She was pacing back and forth like she was waiting for someone. Stayed 20 minutes and slowly walked away.

Seems like a bit of a slow morning, hopefully things pick up in the afternoon.

I'm in the hex for this evening. Conditions are improving with winds laying slightly and moving from SSE to N. Front just hit. Dropped 10 degrees in last 30 mins. Here we go...

I don't know how we are that close to each other and have different conditions... The wind is still howling over here on the cut. I did see a black buck with 3 curls. Probably 24-32 inches. I guess it was a black buck.

Wind picked back up. Temp down to 56. That's over 20 degree drop in last hour plus. Got a little doe out here. Nothing else so far
