If coach would have played me instead of platooning me with a 7 foot beheamoth that couldn't pick a ball in the dirt to save his life I bet we would have won 4 district games instead of two...

What's sad is that we had 2 district wins and missed the playoffs by one game. We were about as average as average comes.

Nimitz. They've never made the playoffs in baseball. Some football coaches are cool and work with two sport athletes. Mike Farda didn't negotiate with "terrorists."

I started about 75% of the games. Me and this one guy platooned at first and I DH'ed about half the games that the other guy played first.

Unfortunately, I pitched every one of our games my jr. and sr. year, and now can't throw a baseball 40 yds. My elbow hurts just thinking about it.

Unfortunately, I pitched every one of our games my jr. and sr. year, and now can't throw a baseball 40 yds. My elbow hurts just thinking about it. Did Northside play some sort of 5 man baseball or something? Instead of having outfielders you get a certain amount of bases depending on were you hit it. Did y'all have ghost runners? Vernon had a freshman, jv, and varsity team.
Northside, where I attended, had 10 guys on the team my jr. and sr. years. 12 or so my freshman and soph. years.
