I know that several of you already know about this, but for those who haven't heard yet: Sully and Sarah's father, Kirk, suffered a heart attack late Sunday night.
He is currently in ICU and things are looking better, but he still needs our help. Please keep him along with Ryan, Sarah, Corley and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers.
There is something else we can do to help too. We all know that a trip to the hospital isn't cheap, especially when it's something as serious as this. Some friends of the family have set up an account and are currently accepting donations to help cover the cost. I know times are tough for everyone right now, but every little bit helps.

Just got a text from Tyler. She says that he's weak but completely supporting himself. He's still in ICU but will hopefully be moved to another room today.

Ms. Kathryn had a shitty day yesterday too. She seems to be doing ok but it still sucks. Say a good word for her too.

holy crap! yesterday was NOT a good day for anyone. I'm adding Papa Sully to the prayer list.
I got hit by a hit and run driver yesterday at about 70 mph. My truck is possibly totalled. I wont find out until tomorrow, hopefully. No serious injuries for me...just whiplash and lumbar/spinal sprains. My shoulder is pretty jacked up, might have to get an MRI on it to see if theres internal damage. I hit my head fairly hard and dont really remember much of anything at all about the accident. Main thing is that I wasnt hurt worse than I was.
I hope everything is ok or at least on it's way to being better with the Sullivans...Keep us updated!

last update I got is that Kirk is doing better and his heart is actually beating on its own. Don't know much other than that. Seems like good news, though.
Sorry to hear about the wreck KL. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Good thing you weren't hurt any worse than you were.

haven't heard from Ryan yet today which is probably a good thing. Hopefully they got him into a regular room and out if ICU, which was the plan.

Ryan's facebook status about an hour ago: got his dad back today.
Awesome news. Prayer works...good going guys.
Now that he's doing better I think we can finally talk about his bachelor party...or at least what we CAN talk about and what we can remember. I didn't think it was appropriate to talk about it this week in light of recent events. Sullyfest '09 thread coming next week.
