The guy has impressive stats:
Eleven years into an unlikely career, Warner’s career completion percentage (65.4) is second only to Chad Pennington; his passer rating (93.8) is fourth to Steve Young, Peyton Manning and Tony Romo; his 48 300-yard passing games are fifth, behind Dan Marino, Brett Favre, Dan Fouts and Warren Moon; and his career yards passing per game (259.9) tops even Manning.
He has two league MVP awards and was a candidate for a third this season after passing for 4,583 yards and a franchise-record 30 touchdowns.
Yet, Warner has made his money, his career and his name in the postseason, where he is 8-2, has been to two Super Bowls and has won a ring. A third trip to the Super Bowl has opened the debate about Warner’s Hall of Fame candidacy, one of the few topics on which he refuses to offer his opinion.
"They can debate all they want," Warner said. "I’m just in the Super Bowl again. I like that."

He should get in. If he wins a second Super Bowl he'll get in first ballot.

On the other hand, how hard could it be to pass for all those yards when you have receivers like: Tory Holt, Isaac Bruce, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquam(sp?) Bolden?

True, but out of those 4 guys, I would bet you have 3 HOF er's.
That has to give you an advantage that some spare QB doesn't have.

I say yes, win or lose. Three SBs is a great achievement. I hate this first-ballot BS. If he's in, he's in. Baseball writers started that crap and now every sport does it. Why did Jim Rice have to wait until his last year of eligibility to get in? Why do the writers vote for one guy one year, not vote for him the next, and vote for him the next? I was always a big fan of Keither Hernandez. Most will agree he is the best defensive first-baseman ever and he was the leader of two different WS teams. He was the best player on the Cards for a period and he produced more runs on offense than any other player on the great '86 Mets team (a team most writers will put in the top 10 best of all-time). His vote totals went 24, 45, 51, 34, 52, 41, 29, 30, and 22. What did he do in the 3rd year of eligibility different from his 7th year? Did he hit more HRs? Did he win any more Gold Gloves?

maybe the other people on the ballot swayed the votes a little bit.
Also, remember that Kurt Warner couldn't even start for his own team the past few years. That doesn't bode well for him.

While he did have possibly the most bad-assed mustache in baseball history, Keith Hernandez was a major coke-head.
