While he did have possibly the most bad-assed mustache in baseball history, Keith Hernandez was a major coke-head. Name one guy on that team that wasn't? What's so great about that team is that it's considered one of the greatest ever yet it's one of the few WS champs that doesn't have a HOFer. In fact, excluding teams from 2002 forward, only one other team since '86 doesn't have at least a future HOFer. **Gary Sheffield will be close and I'm not counting him just yet.** It was truly a team. Back then our cable got ch. 9 from New York and my dad and I got to watch a lot of their games. Probably my favorite team to ever watch.

I'd like to revisit this thread.
After yesterday, if Kurt Warner isn't a Hall of Famer, they need to disband the whole thing. That guy can play QB for my team anytime.

He should definitely be in.
I don't think there is any doubt about it now.

I agree, the guy had more touchdown passes than incompletion's yesterday. That is just plain impressive against any team, let alone the number 5 pass defense in the league. Give that a guy a mustard colored jacket.

I say in for sure.
Keith Hernandez asked me to help him move one time and I had to end our young friendship.
