With the players he drafted, the cowboys haven't done shit in the draft since he left.

That was Jerry that drafted those players.
For proof see the Miami Dolphins drafts when Jimmy was there. He was terrible.

There are two sides to that coin, see Jerry's drafts over the last 12 years, terrible.

Actually, the cowboys have drafted very well as of late.
See 11 pro bowlers last year.
They have drafted great D Linemen, O linemen, LB's, DB's, RB's.
Not the greatest, but better than most teams.

"Not the greatest, but better than most teams."
How do you figure? The can't even make the playoffs let alone win a playoff game.

That isn't what we are talking about.
Draft wise, they do pretty well. Its chemistry, heart, etc. that is the problem.
By all accounts the Cowboys are the most talented team in the NFL. A lot of those were brought in as free agents. But most of them were drafted.

Doesn't that factor in to the draft selection. Most teams that win (Colts, Pats, Steelers, Giants) draft good players that will also fit in to their system, not great players that will draw a ton of media attention.

I don't think its the drafted players that are the chemistry problems. Its T.O., pac man, Roy Sip Williams, Tank Johnson, and those types that are the biggest issue.

How about the link in the very first post? Pretty sure they drafted that guy last year.

haha, that is hardly an issue. Every single team in the NFL has a handful of those incidents every year. Come on Finch.

Those other teams also find a way to win.

No, most of them fail miserably. Only a few of them find a way to win each year.

Well, 25 of them have found a way to win at least one playoff game in the last few years.

yup, but how many of them have found a way to win 3 super bowls in the last 16 seasons. Not many.
Also, the Patriots, who are the only team to have done that, sucked for a long, long time before ever winning a super bowl. It goes both ways.
