In the SEC we settle things on the field, not in the media. Like last year when l$u jumped 6 spots in the BCS after beating an unranked Tennessee team? Yeah, the media had nothing to do with that.

I am really disappointed with Cowtown today.
I have come to expect a lot more from you than this.

Please show me where I said Alabam lost because of injury? They lost because they didn't play as well as Utah. Utah was ranked #6, Alabama was ranked #4. Hardly a huge upset. Not like Ole Miss beating #8 Texas Tech or unranked LSU beating #14 Ga. Tech. My point was that teams have players missing due to injury, suspension, etc. all the time. Robert Henson was suspended from the Poinsettia Bowl. He's our playmaker on defense. So what happens? They insert Irving's own Daryl Washington who filled in nicely. It also allowed Stephen Hodge to step up and show just what a badass he is. Smith's absence forced 'Bama to move things around but it also presented an opportunity for someone else to step up. Their OL, OC, and HC coaches all got outcoached. Sure in the big bad SEC they'd have someone who could step up but no one did. With almost a month to prepare there's no excuse other than they got beaten by a better team.

Sorry to disappoint, but it is nice to know that you have come around to see the superiority of the SEC.
Your revelation that a team with 3 SEC losses should beat a team with 1 Big 12 loss must have been hard to accept.

The revelation that a mid-major team could beat a team from a "real" conference must be hard to accept.

don't try that reverse psychology crap on me...
I just want to hear your argument if tu and ou win out. It should be good.
Something like "we're better because we're the sec and have a worse bowl record than 2 other conferences, lost our two biggest games, but we won the cotton bowl between 2 #3 seeds and LSU beat the 5th place team from the ACC! S-E-C! S-E-C!"

Don't feel like I am. I just have a different opinion than the rest of you concerning this subject. I can't help that the rest of you are wrong.

hahahahaha
I guess we will just have to wait until Thursday. If Florida wins, I will gladly admit that the SEC is better. If OU wins, I will gladly throw it in your face that the Big 12 is the superior conference.

BTW...Anyone read Jenn Floyd-Engle's piece on Tech after the Coddon Bowl? She said that they played like crap but still tried to say that they deserved a better bowl. Why do they let women talk sports???
