That fact that you continually compare TCU to NTSU says a lot about this argument.

At least A&M won their money game...barely...
How the hell did Utah scam 800k out of Michigan?

Money games are games you schedule without a return. You just go on the road to take your ass kicking and get your check. TCU at OU would be a money game for TCU just as Sam Houston at TCU is a money game for Sam Houston.

The OU game was the front end of a home and home.

OU will not come to FTW. They will buy you out.

Maybe. We'll see. They are scheduled to came right after the stadium renovations. UT has always said they don't want to come to DFW twice in one year (and maybe 3 w/ the Cotton Bowl) but I don't see why. OU doesn't seem to mind.

The bigger question is:
Why is TCU expanding a stadium that they have never been able to sell out?

They have to spend that money game income somewhere.

It's so they can atract decent non-conference opponents. It's a miracle that season ticket sales have gone up every year since '03 b/c we get NOBODY to play here. We were fortunate enough to get Baylor and Tech (both are coming back in next 5 years) but that's it. We don't like the one and dones and if we have any chance of fulfulling the home and home contracts the stadium needs to be expanded. It won't make a difference in conference games but it would be nice to see someone besides SFA and UC Davis at home. Plus, it will help with recruiting. The facade and pressbox need the most work. They already added some suites in the south endzone.

Looks like Snyder is coming back to KSU.
TCU looks like a shoe-in for the LAs Vagas Bowl or the Poinsettia Bowl.

Should be LVB. They've already said they don't want BYU again...I think they've been 3 years in a row. If TCU goes to the Poinsettia Bowl again they'll sell 20000 tickets and have only 200 people in attendance.

There is no way TCU sells 20000 tickets to ANY bowl game, much less one played in San Diego.

Uh...you might want to do a little research...they sold over 25000 to the 2005 Texas Bowl and I think it was just over 22k for last year's. I don't remember what we sold for the Poinsettia Bowl but I think it was over 17k w/ an actual 8k in attendance.

Sir, I am not making the wild ass claims. The burden of proof is on you.

Our bowl turnout will probably be bad this year b/c of the late announcement date. The bowls will be finalized on the 7th and if we don't get a solid commitment before then most people will fall outside the 14 day window for airfare b/c the LVB is the 20th and I think the PB is the 17th. If we could somehow work a Sun Bowl, Indy Bowl, or Houston Bowl, the turnout will be 20-30. Otherwise, around 8-12.
