they didn't play with OU for even half of a quarter. That was a butt whipping in every facet. The outcome was never in doubt in that game.
Now, they may be able to play with tceh, but I don't think they could. I still don't think they can beat Utah or Boise. I don't think tcu is that good. They are good, but I think the other teams in front of them are better.

The score was 14-7 after that horrendous 1st quarter. It took them a quarter to figure out what the hell they were doing. After that, the D settled down and frustrated OU for the rest of the night. Not saying they would have won-if they played 10 times they'd be lucky to win twice-but they did show that they could play with them.
One thing TCU has in it's favor is it's defense. It is damn good and puts them in a position to hang with anyone in the country.

TCU was never in the game.

haha, that is more like it.
All I know was that if you watched (or listened) to the game, it was a butt kicking from the first kick off.
The game was over at half time. TCU's great defense frustrated OU to the tune of 436 yds. That includes a 4th quarter of running the clock out.

Most of that was in the first quarter. Ask anyone who was there. People were booing the offense in the second half. Most of our execs here are OU alums and they all applauded our defensive effort after the 1st. We held them to 34 yrds rushing. By the time the DBs got their heads out of their ass the game was long gone.

I wouldn't run the ball either if I was getting 12 yards every pass play.

exactly sully. Why run the ball when you can throw for 4 TD's in the first half?

They actually ran the ball two more times than they threw and Bradford played all but the last possession.

that includes the 2nd half when they were just trying to get the game over because it was a blowout.
The score could have been whatever OU wanted it to be in that game.

They weren't exactly running out the clock. The play breakdown in the 2nd half was 11 rushes to 15 passes.

Okay, let's ask it this way...
if 35-3 is not a blow out in your eyes, what is?

It was a blowout. I was just saying that after the first quarter, things settled down for the Frogs and they frustrated OU for the last three quarters. Your point was that they couldn't hang w/ Tech for four quarters. I say they can and pointed out that they hung w/ OU for the last three quarters when, even though they had the game in hand, they had all their starters in and still had trouble on offense. OU hit them with an anvil and the coaching staff was ill-prepared. They had at least 3 illigal subs. on defense. That's unheard of. OU often snapped the ball with 15-20 seconds left on the play clock. OU doesn't sub in and out that much. Tech does and uses more of the play clock. On this fact alone the Frogs wouldn't have as difficult a time with Tech as they did with OU.

OU's offense was never frustrated. I don't know where you are getting that idea. OU moved the ball at will until they decided to go vanilla because the score was out of control.
Tceh's offense is more complicated than OU's. if tcu had touble with OU as far as alignment and assignment, tceh would give them all sorts of fits.
To say that you could play with the number 6 team in the country because you got blown out by the number 4 team just doesn't make any sense.
