Coach- have you heard anything about a new 5 year series beginning in 2010?
Arkansas boards are claiming it will be played one week ahead of the Texas/OU game in the new Cowboys stadium.
Of course Arkansas message boards have been known to be full of sh!t.

haven't heard anything about that, but it would be awesome.
By that time it is likely i will have made my way back to North Texas to win championships.

A five year series??? Dang. Arkansas is coming to TCU around that time...2011, I think. If this is true, they will show those fags in Austin they aren't afraid to play in DFW twice in one year.
Also hearing that TCU and OU are close to finalizing another home and home series that would begin next year and OU coming here the same year Arkansas does. The game next year would be the week before Texas/OU and it hinges on the MWC leaving that date open for TCU...of course, I'd be willing to put money that the MWC would screw it up and would rather put TCU on a Thursday night on FW public access against Wyoming than give them the opportunity for some national exposure.

I would be willing to bet that Arkansas will drop the TCU series if an A&M series is finalized.

They'd have to pay a pretty penny.

I can assure you Matt, Arkansas LOVES to play in DFW. I have never seen our fans outnumbered at a DFW football game. It's like another home game.

They'd have to pay a pretty penny. That wouldn't be a problem.

Why would you play in Amon Carter Stadium if you can play in the greatest stadium of all time?

First off, it won't be 100k people. That will only be for Supa Boles and BIG games like OU/TX. But why play in front of 80k when 50k will fans for the other team and it supposed to be a home game? Just doesn't make sense. Its basically like agreeing to two road games.

Arkansas fans will buy all the tickets at Amon Carter and ruin your home field advantage anyway. They did that for years back in the SWC days. I almost felt bad for the generic Frogfan. Almost.
I bet Arkansas/A&M game could push that 100k figure. Depends on the w/l record of each team.

A Nutt/Franchione matchup may bring in about 30K.
