Oh, most definately. Sully saw it first hand. They are pathetic in the MWC. TCU had a drive kept alive on a phantom pass interferance but the official made it up to Utah on the very next play when the CB decapatated the receiver and nothing was called. Bad calls are going to happen but make-up calls annoy the hell out of me and just make things worse. In the SDSU game last year you could read an officials lips when he told a TCU receiver "I missed it...I'll make it up." WTF? Don't give me your charity. You're human. You make mistakes. Just try to get it right next time.
At the end of the game when TCU was hoping to get the ball again the officials were taking their sweet time resetting the ball. It shouldn't take 5 seconds from the time the umpire sets the ball to the time the ref winds his arms to start the play clock.

It got down to 4th down for Utah, and there were something like 38 seconds left at the end of the 3rd down play. You could see the ref watch the game clock until it got to 25, before he started the play clock. That was brutal.

And the personal foul that was called on an interception return that was thrown when the returner was at the 10 and then they call it a dead-ball foul instead of marking it off from the point it was committed...what's up with that?

I'll be damned. Sure is. Good eye. I'll give you an exalt for that.
That play is almost as genius as the 23 Skidoo.

Speaking of TCU...has anyone else heard the commericials on the little Ticket from the fine folks at the MWC?
"Call your satellite company and tell them you demand to see the MOUNTAIN!"
You think they are getting a real big response to that?

What's stupid is that they are making the push now. TCU did a campaign of their own back in the spring and about 10000 emails were sent. This is the only market in the conference that doesn't get the mtn. so the Commissioner doesn't even care. Finally they are putting some money behind it because TCU is very pissed off about how promises have been broken. This MWC thing is beginning to be a mess. They force us to play on Thursday nights on channels no one gets. They said those games would be limited but we've played twice as many Thursday night games than anyone else since 2005. Then they have no national TV package and put some of our games on channels that aren't even available here. They finally are catching on that TCU is about 3 steps away from jumping ship again. The only thing is that we don't have anywhere to go. MWC gives better competition but CUSA games are at least on TV.
