Keep trying. Maybe Coach West is trying to hold you out of the public eye.

Well, he lets me do the radio show sometimes...that is good fun.
But the newspaper interview has eluded me.

In related news:
The Brenham Cubs defeated the Waller Bulldogs 34-33 in OT last night at Cub Stadium. It was a great game. We are now 3-0 in district, tied with Livingston for first place. We play Livingston next Friday night in Livingston for the outright lead in the district. They keep getting bigger.

Sounds like a great game. No offense, but I was pulling for the Fighting Jim Phillips' of Waller since his coaching genetics and magic nutsack produced the kid who led the team in tackles against OU as a freshman and would go on to be the greatest middle linebacker in TCU history.
Nevertheless, congrats on the big win. You guys came in as underdogs and no one gave you guys any respect. The Padilla Poll said Waller by 10 and TexasFootball.com said Waller 35-27.
How did Jeremy Phillips look? He visited UNT and Baylor and is also considering Rice, Army, and Duke. I'm surprised there's no interest from TCU because of the family link.
Were you guys able to keep Joplu in check? What do you think about the decision to go for two? Was Waller's defense just worn out and they didn't want to take their chances in further overtimes?

First off, you are one sorry SOB for rooting for a team because the ir coach's son went to the school you failed out of. Especially when you know people who coach for the other team.
Jeremy Phillips is pretty good. Joplo got his, but he was the one we stuffed on the two point conversion. We win.
I would have probably gone for two as well. Their kicker sucks, they were on the road, and they beat us that very same way in 2003. They had been having success moving the ball on us in the last two possessions.
Our offense played lights out.

It was only because Jason Phillips was the defensive star as a freshman in the big OU upset. I'm a huge fan of his. He reminds me of Zach Thomas with his instincts and he always finds himself near the ball. I wish TCU would get on his short list because he has the speed to make the option a viable option for the offense instead of the joke that it is with slewfooted Dalton.
That was the only time. From here on out, it's all Cubbies all the time.
