None of the NL has been decided yet, and only one weekend left!
Give me Phillies, Cubs, Diamondbacks, Rockies.

sounds about right...but I think the mets might pull it off and avoid the biggest choke job this side of the mavericks playoff run.

God I hope the Cubs don't go. They are trying to give it away but Mil doesn't want it.

They would have won it anyway. The blue knew he missed it, but couldn't call him out.
There were no outs, and that would have left the game tied with a runner on 2nd.

that doesn't mean they would have won it. Far from it. I would be furious.

Holliday slid head first into home. The throw from right came in, and the catcher dropped the ball, but blocked the plate. Holliday missed the plate, by maybe an inch. The catcher crawled over to pick up the ball...then the ump called it safe. There wasn't an attempt to tag the runner...who actually face planted himself into the dirt on the slide and got all bloodied up.

Safe. Never got tagged...the ball was dropped. Whether he goes back to tag the plate or not is irrelevant, because the call wasn't disputed.

Whether he goes back to tag the plate or not is irrelevant, because the call wasn't disputed. That's BS. The umpire wasn't sure and simply guessed. The catcher retrieved the ball, saw the runner was 8 feet away and had no chance at getting back to the plate short of OJing him, looked to the umpire and he sheepishly signaled safe. Just because a call isn't disputed doesn't mean it's the right call. He wasn't safe because the ball was dropped. He was safe because the old man was playing three card monty in his head. Just a bad call. I think he was slightly out of position too.

And it was not even close to for certain that Colorodo would have won anyways cause that would have made two outs with a guy on second. Who says thats a for sure run? Either way I wanted to see the Rocks win it. Was it like 14 of the last 15 to make the playoffs? Thats sweet.
