My Frogs do not belong in the top 25 after tonight. This is pathetic. What's even worse is that AFA wasn't even in the game until the 4th quarter. How in the hell does that happen?! The game should have been 42-3 but a fumble, int, and blocked FG all inside the 20 has killed us. Not to mention a drive that ended in a punt when inside AFA's territory that featured 3 procedure penalties. The defense is great but when the offense goes 3 and out and takes only 49 seconds off the clock when they are up 2 TDs, there's only so much you can ask of them and so much they can do.
Geez...win or lose (its in OT now) let the dogpiling begin...

Manfredini just missed a fuckin' FG in OT. Wonderful. Well, when the Ft. Worth Bowl comes callin' I think I'll pass.

It does suck that they had to turn around and play on the road on a Thursday night...the MWC did them no favors, but there's still no excuse for this. Absolutely pathetic.

It was on CSTV. Manfredini has a lot of experience. He was kicking as a freshman at Cincinnati. He transfered back home and split the duties with Peter Lococo the last couple years. When he's on, he's a very solid kicker but he goes braindead sometimes. He was benched last year after missing 3 PATS in the first 3 games. But the kid can hit it from about 60 yards...just can't figure him out.
I guess they were going with experience.

Who passes on 1st down inside the 20, with a minute left to play? Whoever is calling plays should be fired. All those arguments for your boys in the top 25 look real legitimate now.
I was looking for the game too, but couldn't find it. The fall of TCU, from the small pedestal they have been on has begun.

This is like 04. They went 11-1 in 03 and didn't make a bowl in '04. '05 they bounced back and went 12-1. They'll be back...but not this year. It's FW Bowl this year...unless AFA can lose another game and we win out and play in the LV Bowl against a Pac-10 team. If not, it's a WAC team in the FW Bowl...yippee!!!
Yeah, the guy calling plays is Mike Schultz...the most hated man in Fort Worth these days. He's a leftover from the Fran era and needs to go. He has a pretty impressive track record...school records in TDs and points over the last few years, but that was with option quarterbacks. Dalton is NOT an option QB...but Schultz is deadset on making him one. Calling two QB draws at the 5? Come on!!! If ever a coaching staff gave a game away, it was this one. GP needs to fire Schultz. You can lay the blame on GP for a lot of this loss but the head coach shouldn't have to buzz in and remind the OC what to do in that situation. What a bunch of boneheads.
At least we can be BCS busters...we can drive down Texas' SOS in the computers and keep them out of an at-large BCS bid.

Texas will lose to OU. They should beat A&M but who knows...I'm kind of hoping they run the table and we go 4-8 and kill their SOS!!!
