Okay, I never said you had to be a coach, or even your dad had to be a coach to talk football. Although, a LITTLE playing experience or even some experience that goes beyond the cheap seats and tailgates would be nice.
I never have claimed to be a football expert. But you, sir, are a football idiot. You know nothing, I am tired of arguing about it with you. Its dumbasses like you that make coaching football a pain in the ass sometimes. I truly wish you had some fucking retard who has no idea what the hell they are talking about come try to tell you how to do your job. You DO NOT know what you are talking about. Its idiots like you that sit on their damned couches and think they know what the hell they are talking about even though you have never even played a down of football or been around a real football program that drive coaches away from the sport.
Whether or not the gameclock was managed well is a moot point. The fact is, you don't know clock mangagement because you have NEVER EVER been involved in managing a clock. Not even in a jr. High game. There are a lot more factors that go into it than you can see on your t.v. screen. Maybe they did screw up clock management, I don't know. I do know, I wouldn't trust your ass to run our 7th grade B team games.

I played football for 5 years sir.
I would never, ever, go up to a coach and tell him how to do his job. I don't know if the shit they put on Friday Night Lights really happens but I can guarantee you I won't be one of those guys going up to the coach telling him what he did wrong. My daddy taught me better than that. If I ever saw GP on the street, the very most I would say is "well, a lot of mistakes were made. Make sure everyone learns from them and let's get SMU."
Fischer, if you can't take the heat, maybe you're in the wrong profession. Just think if the President left office from all the criticism. Right, wrong, or indifferent, it's part of the game. It's part of life. You have to have a thick skin and the ability to critique yourself objectively. If that's not you, then go coach soccer.

Ding...Ding...Ding...
Round 5 in this Bout scheduled for 12. Stubbs lands a swift jab...
Awaiting Fischer's response. After the last round, he was boiling. We'll see if he's cooled down, but from the looks of it, I bet he'll come out of his corner swinging like no other.
What do you think Joe?!

5 years of peewee/jr. high? you must know a lot.
No there is no heat here. we all got a raise.
Don't worry Stubbs, I am in the right career. I have been around the profession for over 20 years (that I remember). I think I have seen what the pitfalls of it are and what it takes to be a successful coach. I don't need a financial guru to tell me about coaching...wasn't that the original point? Although, if I need a loan I will definitely come to you or one of your esteemed peers, I am sure you are outstanding at what you do.
There is not one statement you made that I haven't heard before. My skin is plenty thick (no one attacked my personal coaching ability anyways).

So, what you're saying is that TCU belongs in the top 25, right? Well, I don't think so, but if you insist...I'll defer to the Wade Phillips of 4A football.

The candyman is the generic name for a big moneyed booster of athletic teams. Study your Ticktionary!
