Yeah, the Tigers have a great pitching staff, but it is hard to go against the White Sox. In the NL they all kind of suck, but I think the D'backs might make another run.

Honestly, does it really matter who wins this thing? I don't know if there are many baseball fans here, but why should this lousy game determine who has home field in the series? Yeah, that's pretty gay but so was the old way that alternated from year to year. It should be based on who had the best regular season record.

well we all know stubbs is a baseball fan, but he never comes around these parts much anymore...I am rooting for the American league just because I am a Rangers fan. Also very glad to see Matthews Jr. and Young playing. MY has been my favorite for 3 years now and GMJ is earned the #2 spot. I just love how both of those guys go to the opposite field when they are down in the count. I went to the last game of the year just to see Michael win the batting title.

Home field advantage for the World Series should be decided by best record during the regular season. Having an exhibition decide it is regodamndiculous. Ron Burgandy: That doesn't make sense.

Wow...maybe I spoke about two minutes too soon there. Our Strangers bad ass, big Mike Young just poked a two out, two strike line drive TRIPLE to right-center for what could quite possibly be the game winner. GO AL!!! Textbook Michael Young hitting. Two strikes, two outs, runners in scoring position, and he hits it into the gap going the other way...beautiful. I'm going to be showing my kids that at-bat. I almost teared up.

What a stud. That's what Rangers do is win All Star games. Remember Blalock against Gange in the 9th. Welcome Michael Young to stardom! Don't forget about the Keeper of the Gold in 90 at Chicago. Gotta love the Jerry-curls.

Too bad they haven't been quite as successful the few times they have made the post-season. Don't worry about that right now. We hang our heads on that one victory in NYC that chilly October night.

On this note who do y'all think will be in the WS. And if anyone says astros or rangers you are fucking retarded. Hey, once you get there, all you have to do is be one game over .500 to win a series. Anything can happen once you get there.

Go rangers is right! i like the all-star game. I think it's great. I should decide nothing though, as far as home field advantage. It's a good break, and the trade deadline and all that makes it a nice reset for the rest of the season. The only problem with it is guys like Manny Ramirez who claim to be too injured to play in it, but play all the regular season games leading up to and after the all-star game. I know this is like his 7th or 8th trip, but it should still be an honor to get to play. GOODPOINT. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Personally, I would love to see the little formerly red-shoed Rangers battle the STL Cards. That would be fun. I think the Cards will falter. The Brew Crew is only 5 games out. Watch out for Det. The Mets look pretty damn strong too. They have some good player men.

Tigers looking very nice with a few former Rangers leading the way for them..seems to be the way with all players..leave the Rangers = play phenomenal I hate that things ended sourly for Kenny. I really enjoyed watching him pitch. Some guys are throwers. Kenny is a pitcher. He did really well at TBPIA. 11 more wins in the rotation sure would be nice. But he always slumps in the 2nd half.
