Please, please, please, whatever you do, do NOT cancel the show on July 21 under ANY circumstances. I am flying in for this. I hope there is a rodeo that night too so I can see Daddy Parker and maybe even his rodeo buddy Eldred. Maybe I could get one of them to teach me to dance. (RP, am I spelling his name right???)

Are you talking about Eldred? If you are I don't know, because I don't remember anybody named Eldred. Might be some guy that Dad knows from roping. Anyway, we will not be cancelling that show, I promise. That is rad that you guys will be there. Dad will for sure be there, but I doubt he'll be in the rodeo that night. That rodeo is kind of wierd. And dancing?.........my dad is the king.

Well RP, I think it was Eldred. He was a black guy that was hanging out with your dad that night. Had his rodeo number on and said he's known you for along time. Hell I was drinking, his name could have been Lucille for all I remember. But he was a cool guy.

The name is Eldon and he owns rodeo livestock and is a hell of a nice guy.
My lovely wifes northern upbringing and social worker education prohibits her from beleiving that being a cowboy is something a black man would want to do. Eldon being a black man and a true cowboy; fascinates her to no end. Mr. Eldon, RP's Dad and myself tried to explain the fact that Eldon is from rural Texas and he was raised to be a cowboy; but I still don't think she fully grasps the concept. That was a fun conversation to be involved in. It was a couple of years ago, but I bet RP's Dad still remembers it. He along with everybody else at the table seemed to be getting a kick out of the whole thing.

RP and the pesos--Let me add my thanks on y'all having this show.
It's the only way I can get my wife to come to Texas.
