Missed you guys at Bash Riprocks in Lubbock (8/25). I was looking forward to the show. What happened? I stopped in again on Saturday night at Bash's and the barmaids were ripping you guys... I tried my best to defend you...

No, the barmaid was full of crap b/c she's ignorant. She's probably never heard them and just made an assumption. You know what happens when you assume...
Also, I think it's healthy to hear criticism. I welcome it at work-that's how you get better. We are in the midst of a generation of wusesses. There are no participation medals in the real world.

Nah, I just talked to her and made her go. Unfortunately, some signals got crossed. She said that Rip Rock's website said they were playing on Saturday but the barmaid said they were supposed to play Friday and didn't show. Now that I look at the schedule on the peso site, I told Meg the wrong date. I don't know why I was thinking Friday. Either way, I feel bad. Yeah, one and the same. She said she liked the songs on the website.
I was in Waco on Sat.

some serious signals got crossed on this one. that show got cancelled and we played in san angelo instead. i remember reading your post about Meagan, but for some reason it didn't click that we weren't playing lubbock and we wouldn't get to meet her. I don't know why but I didn't put two and two together. Sorry meagan. I don't know why they are saying we no-showed. I need to get to the bottom of this.

Yeah, it sounds like they are trying to throw you guys under the bus...its nice to have some company down here. I got a case of beer, and Xbox, and season 2 of Entorage so its not that bad.
I gave Meg some bad info too...so my bad on sending her out there. She may come into DFW this weekend so she may be able to catch the show on Saturday.

At least it wasn't as far...
And gas is getting cheaper. It was $2.59 in Huaco. I nearly crapped myself.
