no, they don't attack people. They are scavengers.
The bigger story here is that the dude filleted that thing and is presumably going to eat it. That is disgusting.

We went to see the Dirty River Boys at the Panther Pavillion on the Trinity yesterday. It's a place where you can tube and there's a band shell right on the river bank. Meyer said he took his kayak out there last month and a couple gar jumped right in the middle of tubers. Cray cray.

No, we didn't get in last night because of some ominous skies. There was lightning and some thunder off in the distance when we got there and they announced that if it got any closer they'd have to ask everyone to get out of the water. So we didn't want to waste $10 on tubes. The skies looked threatening all night but not one drop. Kind of wish we had. They say the water isn't really any worse than the Guadalupe. Who knows.
Craig, are you in FW every day? Call me up and we'll go to lunch. There's only two more...next Thursday Ryan Turner. The following Thursday Johnny Pooper.
WFR opened last night.
