So where do we think Peyton will end up playing next year. I hope it is not Washington.

Denver has $43.3M in cap room. Boom. Roasted. Lock it.

Dallas. Trade Romo for some O-line help or a safety. No draft picks. We can't draft.

Dallas should just trade every pick for money that they'll use to overpay. The rest of the roster can be made up of UDFAs.

HSO coming down the pipe
Manning will sign with...
The Houston Texans
Washington is out, he doesn't want to play outdoors or against his brother. Miami doesn't have all the pieces to win, and you have play the Jets and Pats four times a year.
The Texans are build to win right now, and Manning would probably make them the favorite to win the SB next year. Schaub is in the last year of his contract, and I think is already close to 30-31. I realize Manning is 36, but Manning will more than likely be better than Schaub for the next 3-4 years, at which point the Texans would need a new QB anyway.
Make it happen Texans!!!

Miami has more pieces than you think. A solid D and good OL. Need a little bit more playmaking ability at WR but if they can bring in Wayne as well that might be the missing piece. Running game is average but in today's NFL you don't need a great one. I think the two biggest problems over the last several years have been between the QBs ears and the HC's headset. Regis and Manning could put together a pretty lethal offensive attack. BTW, the Jets are nothing. The Pats are who you have to worry about. Houston definitely has more pieces to win now but I think Miami has something very attractive to offer and he could be what the missing piece to make them competitive. He also has a condo down there where he spends much of his offseason.

only flaw in your logic is that you think having to play the jets will deter him. They suck.
I just don't think we'll see the MVP caliber Payton Manning. If he IS his old self, the Texans need to make it happen.

Not saying Miami doesn't have a decent team, but their talent is no where close to Texans right now. And yes, the Jets aren't great, but they are easily better than the Colts, Jags, and Titans right now. The South will be much easier to win than the East.
No doubt Manning's MVP days are behind him, but even if he is 80% of his old form that is still better than the majority of the QB's in the league, including Schaub.
I know it's a long shot, but I think it's just crazy enough to happen.

Manning is going back to Tennessee. Mark it down.

That was my initial thought too, mike, but I haven't heard anyone give that team a chance.
