Anyone know where I can get some venison? I know there's a butcher shop in Plano that sells some but I don't want to go that far. I thought Central Market may have some but no luck there.

Sweet. I'll find you at the school and follow you home. I bet that's not the first time Stubbs has posted that statement on an internet message board.

I think it's illegal to sell venison.

I think it's illegal to sell venison. I know it is illegal if it was a wild animal harvested as a game animal.

Yeah, butchers that sell it have to have a separate permit from their other permits, certifications, etc. Makes you wonder if what they sell is farm raised, free range, grain fed, and certified organic.

I made some ground venison dip for the super bowl that turned out really good.

Well, I couldn't wait to make my new chili recipe so I used a combo of (all ground) buffalo, chicken, pork, and chorizo. The chicken added little but filler but the buffalo and chorizo were the MVPs. I'm actually glad I tried it this way before using venison in case it didn't turn out so well. I uploaded pictures of it on facebook. It was the first time I've ever made chili and I surprised even myself.

Chili is great. Easy. You can mix it up and it always turns out good.
