I disagree. I think he'd get more use out of a pistol he'd carry every day than a rifle he'd shoot (hopefully) 3 times a year.

By use, I mean taking something down. How many living beings have you taken out with your pistols? Ok. How many with your rifles?

Some people carry a rifle or shotgun around in their truck everywhere they go. Does that count for use?

Sure it would. I highly doubt finch is going to carry it around in his truck, though. A carry pistol isn't used for recreation. It's used for protection. So it will be used every time it's on your person.

I said deer rifle. I'm just saying your logic of "you'll use it more" is incredibly flawed.
