Do any of you have ponds? If so, where do you get your stock fish? I am having a horrible time finding people out here, I've found one in Oklahoma, and that's it. The drought just about killed everything we had.

When I lived in Brenham the feed store would have the fish guy come by every month or so to sell to the local pond owners.
I saw on the news yesterday, though, that the TPWD has closed the main fish hatchery in west texas (Electra) because of the lack of water.
Sounds like there are more hatcheries that might be shutting down due to the drought.

We are having the same problem in Gonzales where I am from. Two years ago we worked our butts off stocking tanks for with perch, but most of them went dry. Now that some have water again we are having trouble finding anyone willing to lets us trap from their tanks. There is place here in CS that sells stocks tanks but they are pretty damn pricey.

We had perch, bass, and catfish, and in late August I walked down to it and probably the biggest catfish we had in it were all on the shore dead. It's not a huge pond, about an acre, and there were fish all over it last spring, now, not so much. I've talked to the feed stores out here in Weatherford, and apparently they are having hell trying to find people selling them as well.

Heard a guy on the Ranch this morning heading out your way to sell stock fish.
