I happen to like that hat because it's military colors. I will try to be more "I left the Big 12 to become cannon fodder in the SEC" friendly to you guys.
Framp, that's how you know I live with an artist/painter.
Instead of finishing painting, she just puts a swatch of paint here and there to see if the paint matches and to see if it'll look good.
It drives me nuts.

the hat does look cool other than the logo on the front.
How many AR type guns do you have?

the hat does look cool other than the logo on the front. How many AR type guns do you have? This is #3 Coach. I still haven't built my AR Pistol yet. I need to get in those stripped lowers I bought oh 16 freaking weeks or so ago, to come in before I can add parts to them. This is the last time I deal with Spikes Tactical on group buy level. I went in with some people on a buy for 50 stripped lower recievers. For a run of 50, we got them at $60 a piece rather than $120 each at a gun shop. This is just one of the pains of buying in on such a sweet deal. Waiting is the hardest part.

nice collection, DB. You ever take any videos of you firing them? Would be cool to see you blow away a watermelon or something.

nice collection, DB. You ever take any videos of you firing them? Would be cool to see you blow away a watermelon or something. I've never found it necessary to waste such a good piece of fruit Mike. My problem is that I don't have anywhere outdoor to go shoot. I live in the County, but where I'm at I have neighbors who are not so high speed impalement device friendly. You know, the ones who refuse to have a gun in the house because they don't want their kids to get into them. Here's an idea dipshits: BUY A SAFE. When I find a place to go shoot like an outlaw you can bet your ass I'll be videoing for all of you Peso Heads to see. I'm about to go a different route than the Pink AR Build I was going to do for my wife's anniversary gift in November. After making subtle question/comments while browsing firearms online, she's basically told me she likes the OD Green Furniture on rifles. She says she wants an AK styled rifle. An AK-47 would just be waaaaaaaaaaay too much for her to handle in 7.62×39mm. So I've decided that she needs a 5.45X39mm Saiga IZ-340, which is smaller than the .223/5.56 round and costs only .13 to shoot rather than the .33 cent .223 round. I am going to buy her this : Saiga IZ-340 Then convert it to this: But with this muzzle break on it: 450.00 for the rifle in flat black with no bells and whistles. 150.00 for the conversion to OD Green. This is a new platform that I've never worked on before so I'll be up for some new education. The AK Platform looks bad ass. I've shot plenty of them in 7.62 but never in the 5.45. This will be fun.

Here's what I've been up to today and yesterday: My niece is turning two and they live in Mason kind of out in the country. Her mother said she'd like to have a picnic table because the young un loves being outside. Here it is before the finish: Here it is after Julie and I torched it: Also, I'm pretty sure I've posted it before, but last year I was fiddling around in the garage and came up with this: My neighbors loved it and wanted a Coors Light one. I built the clock, but wasn't able to paint the logo like I wanted it so I put the project off...for a long time. Until yesterday I went to Bryan's shop and used his wood engraver to put the logo on. Both clocks came out well: When I smoke briskets and ribs Julie gets frustrated that I slice them on her good pans. Nothing is big enough and it makes a mess. So, with the help of Bryan's brother Brandon, I made a big cutting board on the router. This is the back side of it: Still needs a little smoothing out, but I like how it turned out. Its got a drip edge routed into the top side. Now back to packing.

Your niece will love it.

yeah they're old pickets.
That picnic table is very simple. I was surprised how easy it was to make.
