I don't even care about this crap anymore. Everyone is doing it one way or another, and they're all slowly getting picked-off. If this keeps up, every major college will have some kind of investigation going. It sucks for the good guys that don't accept the money or gifts and just go to college to play ball and get an education. You could probably do away with 90% of it, if you let the others just go straight to some pro ball. Maybe a minor league NFL.

the NFL isn't that stupid.
Minor League football is not a good idea.

Why not?
The NCAA and boosters will continue to fund the minor league system, then. It's clearly working, right?

I wonder if the NCAA is chomping at the bit to talk to the NFL about what Pryor told them? Apparently he had to tell them more than what the NCAA already knows.
BTW, who would even want Pryor? Did y'all see his workouts? He throws like I do when a ball is too big for my hands. I think that's the problem. He'll never cut it as an NFL QB. Anyone who takes him is wasting their time and money.

You know those footballs cheerleaders throw into the stands when your team scores?

Why not? The NCAA and boosters will continue to fund the minor league system, then. It's clearly working, right? So, since a lot of major programs are cheating, we should scrap college ball and go to a minor league system or let them play pro ball out of high school? That really worked for basketball didn't it? They are even more corrupt than football... I think the NFL has proven it knows how to handle itself. Cheating is absolutely no cause to institute a minor league system.

I would never do away with college ball. Just keep the kids that want to get paid out of it.

Or that may make things worse, since the college programs would have to up the ante a bit more to keep these kids interested in going to school...
I don't know

it would absolutely destroy college football. It would be bad for the game all around.
Not a good idea, IMHO.

The talent level in the NCAA would drop off so much that it would be tough to watch.
