How about that GoDaddy.com bowl?! I never understood why they just throw that one in? Couldn't they plug it in a week or two earlier and push the others back? What's the point?

I love how all of Stubbs comments about how weak UH is can also be made for TCU. Hasn't beat anyone? Who the hell has TCU beat. Two 10-win teams. I'm not saying their schedule was anything to write home about but percentage-wise, it was one of the toughest since 1938. They had the most 7-win teams on schedule since then. Compared to UH it was a more difficult schedule. You obviously had no clue what I was talking about. They played at UAB in front of 200 people, 199 of which were from Cougar High. They racked up impressive numbers in against a team that had no fans and zero support from the administration. There were over 50k at Jerry World during Game 7 of the World Series. That's impressive for those two teams if you ask me. Over 60k tickets were sold...50k in attendance. I didn't go and I personally know of a couple dozen others who didn't go b/c of the Rangers. I sold my two tickets for $10...total. The game also killed a potential walkup crowd of another 5-8k according to Cowboys Stadium officials. My tickets were in the 1st club level and the guy who bought my tickets said almost everyone in that level were down at the bar watching the game. [/quote] TCU finished ahead of UH in total scoring defense. UH faced weaker offenses as well. They played 3 teams in the top half of scoring offense. TCU faced 6. UH's opponents averaged 73rd in the nation in scoring offense. TCU's were 58th. Chop. Chop. |

No one has twisted any of your words except for you. Oh yeah, Bennett is one of the better respected DC's in the country. He has coached a lot of great defenses. That comment alone shows your ignorance to what really goes on. His lack of success at SMU has nothing to do with his ability to coach defense. It is simply amazing how your job gets busy or your internet breaks down whenever you are getting owned up and down a thread. Has to be the biggest coincidence I've been around. Reading comprehension isn't your strong point. I said the website we work out of went down...not our internet. That's what gave me a moment to post. You're living in the past, man. The Wrecking Crew is a thing of the past. The B12 had some weak offenses when he was at KSU. Baylor went from 89 in scoring defense to 113 under his watch. You have your thoughts. I have mine. I don't know if Boise would have won or not. I don't think either team deserved to be there. But that game was pretty danged good. A lot better to watch than most of the others this year. I agree with Fischer. The SB was pretty good. I love watching Denard Robinson. Glad VT got beat. They had less claim of being there than Michigan did. This should have been a lesser bowl matchup but the game itself was good. |
