Sully needs to start looking into the College Pick'em and get it up and running.

I guess the mtn and Big 10 Network should start showing HS games too. Maybe TCU can work something out to play a few games at ACS and put them on TV. I mean, if the wHorns can do it, why can't everyone else?

Yeah, pretty funny. We lost our starting QB, three receivers, starting DL, and 2 members of the secondary and we're still lightyears ahead of them in talent. Tommy T better get that resume updated.

Uh-oh...I wonder if Fischer wishes he were still there to be in the middle of this little dust-up. www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/2011/7/26/2296297/texas-longhorns-network-brenham-isd-high-school-footballSo much for hitting the pause button. Just days after Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe announced that plans for Texas' new television venture -- the Longhorn Network -- would be put on hold, reports have revealed that the university has already signed a contract to air a Brenham High School football game. www.kbtx.com/home/headlines/Brenham_ISD_Signs_Deal_to_Air_Football_Game_on_Longhorn_Network_126213108.htmlOfficials with Brenham's athletic department confirm they signed a contract with the Longhorn Network early last week, allowing them to broadcast the Cubs' game on September 1st at 7p.m. Deep in the heart of Aggieland. Ouch. Baylor's response: I have heard from a very reliable source that we [BU] are absolutely NOT taking a wait and see approach. Our administration has already vetted our options and we are very close to taking the best option on the table, an invite to CUSA. Don't worry, WAC! We are going to show UT who's boss by leaving them in the dust for CUSA. I have no doubt this will open up the flood gates for other members to bolt leaving UT high and dry.

MWC rules that Boise St cannot wear all blue at home for conference games. They can wear it on top or bottom...but not both. Good...maybe I can actually stand to watch a game on tv.

I wouldn't be in the middle of anything. They left me out of most major district business decisions.

True, but you'd be able to see it all unfold first-hand and see how it shaped kids' opinions on recruiting.
