I'm voting for Georgia as having the worst uniforms of week 1. I know its a toss up though.

Yea, but for some reason I hated Georgia more. Like I said, its a toss up. I don't ever hate Oregon's unis very much, I don't dislike the charcoal. I hate the wings on the shoulder pads though. If Oregon was the only team that did this uniform upgrade I would be fine. Nike and UA are tricking up America.

I'm not really shocked when some teams do it (Oregon, Maryland, VT), but I was shocked to see Georgia do it and I am now really shocked that ND and Michigan are falling for it.

Those aren't bad at all. I'm wondering where they get the invisible suitcases from for the guys in the pics to hold during the shoots.

I think they will look pretty cool, but it just doesn't seem right messing with those uniforms.

Stubbs... can't wait to hear our analysis of the tcu baylor game. Well, I was really, really, really shocked at the cluelessness of the secondary. I knew they were young but several of them got some good PT last year and they are all pretty fast. GP coaches the secondary and that falls on his feet. That was one of the many areas he was outcoached. RG3 played great but they weren't able to make any adjustments to stop him. I thought the OL would be the weak link but they played well. TCU players were dropping like flies much like OU did in '05. Another area in which they were ill-prepared. Several players were those dumbass NIKE cleats they wore in the Rose Bowl that had players slipping all over the place. The RBs and LBs were them. A few of the WRs did too but that doesn't account for dropped passes. I wish I could say the DBs wore them too but they didn't...they just got burned. It's not an excuse...just another way they were ill-prepared. You give up 50 points you don't deserve to win. Kicking game left 7 points on the field. The ESPN guys were saying Dalton was the player they missed the most. I say it's Bart Johnson b/c he was the holder for the last three years. GP said yesterday that Ross Evans kicked the laces on the two missed FGs, the blocked EP, and even one of the made FGs. Four bad holds is not just a game day fluke. Yet another example of being outcoached. All in all, we had a QB making his first college start, a whole new secondary, three new starters on the OL. Even after a near-perfect game from Griffin, bad officiating, poor tackling, and being down by 24 in the 4th it still took a last minute FG for Baylor to win. I'm not happy about the loss but there are many positive things to take from this. I'm just glad it wasn't a blowout which is what it looked like it would be. Pachall impressed the hell out of me and became a man before our eyes. I only saw a few poor passes; the INT at the end not being one of them b/c the receiver broker off his route. I love Andy Dalton to death but the fools on ESPN made Pachall sound like he was Peter Gardere. I think we'll be in good hands behind center for the next three years. They showed a lot of pride there in the 4th. Most teams would have just roled over and quit. Credit to Baylor. Their offense impressed the hell out of me. I thought RG3 was a headcase but he was about as focused as I've ever seen a QB. The Big IX better watch out for this offensive bunch. Good thing for everyone else they have a horrible defense. I'm not sure what the ESPN love affair with Phil Bennett was but he and his new schemes gave up 48 points as they showed him more than they did Briles. Congrats Baylor. You're now 1-3 against us since the breakup of the SWC. I think the combines scores are 137-87. I guess that entitles you to flex your atrophic political muscle to block A&M's exit from the BXII.

What did y'all think of TCU's new unis? Not too crazy. I kind of like the matte finish on the helmet. That was their primary helmet. The Frog will be back for at least one game and the grey lid with the bloodlines will be used at least once as well. The numbers were a little out there but compared to what other teams are throwing out there these days it wasn't too bad.
