Yea the committee really had me scratching my head. TU should have been 2. Florida should have been about 4 instead of 2. Colorado should have made it.

Yea them too. Jay Bilas was legitimately angry at how the left out Colorado and V Tech and wondering how in the hell UAB and VCU got in. He was goin off. He convinced me. He was saying something about SOS. UAB and VCU didn't beat many/any top teams but their SOS was real good cause they scheduled tough games. They got credit for getting killed by good team. Ridiculous.

Usually I'm pretty pleased with the job the committee does, but this year was just flat out ridiculous. Ags should be at least 6, maybe even a 5. Really, if K state is a 5 then we should be a 4, our complete resume is better than theirs and we beat them head to head. Texas probably earned a 2 seed but at worst should have been a high 3. Mizzou at 11 behind Georgia was another screw job. Colorado and Va. Tech got the worst of it though by not even getting invited.
I still can't believe Florida got a 2, the Big 10 got 7 teams in, and that USC made it in. Those three decisions right there are just flat out incredible to me. No idea what the committee was thinking.

The NCAA as a whole has been even more disappointing than normal of late.

What gets me is how they have all these college basketball experts who have been projecting the field for weeks but the tournament committee is filled with ADs of random schools who probably know about half (if that) of what the experts do. Why fill this committee with people whose job isn't to watch college basketball all year?

I'm starting to love march madness. I don't really care about college basketball but when I fill out a bracket I get real excited. Watching 6 games at once (or however many it is) and caring about every single one of them.
Plus I feel like a genius when I fill out my bracket even though I don't know a damn thing.

Filling out my bracket is one of my favorite sports related activities of the year. Although this year is pretty tough compared to years past as there is no clear top team in the country. I could see all 4 1 seeds making the final four, but also wouldn't be surprised if only one makes it to the final four.
I've just started making my picks but I'm not confident in any of them so far.
