I thought there was no such thing as the NFLPA any longer. How do they still have so much pull?

I was wondering the same thing. If they decertified they should no longer be allowed to represent or counsel any former, current, or future players. By doing so they are really jeopardizing any lawsuits the players bring against the NFL.
I still think the NFLPA is way over playing their hand in this matter and it's looking like it may come back to bite them if they don't get their act together.

I still think the players end up losing in the end.

Man, Mallett has been taking it on the chin as of late. Every article I read is bashing him.
The only one coming to his defense is, well, Mallett himself. He swears up and down he is a good kid and a great person.

Andy Dalton is making some waves on the draft boards. Some say he's a potential 1st rounder. Gil Brandt says he's an early two. I have him late in the second on my board. It's quite a meteoric rise for AD. At the beginning of 2010 most had him as a 5th or 6th rounder. By the Rose Bowl he was definitely a 4th. Afterwards he was talked about as a 3rd or maybe even a second. Since then he's had his pro day where he impressed most scouts and has had one-on-one meetings with half the league. Quite impressive I must say. I saw one "expert" who said Indy has an eye on him late in the 1st. Now wouldn't that be about the most bad-ass thing to learn under Peyton for 4-5 years?

That late, the great Gill Brandt.

I hope there is a way that Peterson falls to the Cowboys. With the way these teams are starting to panic on drafting QBs I think there is a small possibility. But highly unlikely.

I just hope Von doesn't go to the Bills. Lots of guys saying he'll go no. 2 to Denver.
I agree, Peterson would be an awesome pick up, but I doubt he'll be there at 9.

Cowboys' drafts have been pretty damn forgettable for years. I won't be surprised if we trade down and pick up some spare that doesn't pan out to get more draft picks that won't pan out either. 2 1/2 guys still on the team from the last 3 drafts, 1/2 being Beuhler. I'd put money on only one guy from this draft being around in 3 years.

I really hope they can muster up some solid defensive picks to give Rob Ryan some good players to work with.

Yea which is why I don't mind picking one in the first round. I just hope we can make decent defensive picks in other rounds.
