Actually, I think if you are speaking about class and college coaches he's probably one of the classiest.
He doesn't negative recruit and he doesn't lie to recruits.
He shouldn't have said what he said. I agree 100%, actually 1000%. He said it in a post game press conference when he was angry and frustrated. He shouldn't have said it, he should know to bite his tongue. But he isn't classless. Especially compared to other coaches in the country. I hate tu, but I really admire Mack Brown.
This quote makes you wonder if something more isn't going on behind the scenes. tu could be in for a dog fight this weekend. I hope Baylor beats them by 3 TD's.

I think TU's problem is the fact that they have all these stud's who think that if they just show up they will win because they're texas. Those stud athletic wr's couldn't catch a flu. What do you think John?

I think they're young, and just not that good this year. Its all cyclical. They'll be back dominating next year.
Those quotes do make me wonder if there isn't something brewing that we don't know about, though.

Texas is probably still one of the most talented teams in the nation, but watching them play they just look completely uninspired. Although it wouldn't surprise me if they went 12-0 and played for a MNC next year, so who knows. |
