Looks like it comes out to 27 different coaches have been to the SB since 94. Fisher has had the most opportunities during that time. Getting there is good but his overall playoff record isn't something to boast about..... when he gets there.

Again, what are you trying to argue?
I have stated many times that I think he does a great job of coaching teams without a lot of talent. Talking about his overall record and his playoff record doesn't refute that. I have never said the guy is the greatest coach of this era, but that he is able beat more talented teams because he is able to out coach the guy on the other side of the field. Nothing you have posted so far is in any way relevant to that.
If you want to prove your point, show me all these talented teams he has had that he ran in to the tank. Wade Phillips was fired because he was wasn't getting it done with what is considered to one of the most talented teams in the NFL. Show when, if ever, that Fisher had a team any where close to that good.

I have been arguing points that you make. Like that he has been to a SB. And then you ask what I am arguing. I think his record says a lot. If he doesn't have talent isn't that partly his fault?

He's not the president, gm, or owner of the team. Doesn't look like he has a whole lot of input on who they draft/sign.
You are trying to prove he is over rated, yet shown no evidence that he is. Just claimed that was he has done isn't good enough for you, not in relation to how good his players have been.

But what is your proof that he is good? I think the tangible facts outweigh what you think and have heard.

He has a winning % well over .500 He has coached a team to the SB and was one great tackle away from winning He has a playoff record one game under .500
Very few NFL coaches have a resume even close to that. He's also done it with out the benefit of a great QB like Brady or Manning, the most important position on the field.

I think we need to keep this thread going, to talk about all things Houston sports.
At least until Stubbs quits trying to play mod.

Thats fine.
So the Rockets suck.
Arian Foster is strange but awesome. Interesting story on him in college at Tenn if you can find it.
Astros will suck again.
Whitney Houston is a nut.

Sorry KL. Its nothing personal at all. If you don't want us to bag on your teams, you need to get better teams.
There isn't a good team in Houston right now. That is just a fact.

And it makes it worse when our teams are successful: Rangers, Mavs, even the Stars, and for the Meyers of the world FC Dallas. The Cowboys are the only team in the Metroplex this year that is a suck.
