How bad is their situation now. Changes must be made.
My crazy, doubtful, hopeful HSO:
Cowboys bring in the great Jim Harbaugh and draft Andrew Luck to sit for a couple years and learn the ropes.
I would love to have Jim in here. 1) Not sure he would want to work for a guy like Jerry and a place of idiocracy like Cowboy Stadjum. 2) With whats going on with the CBA they will stay in house with a new coach cause Jerry can't afford it. 3) They are in a bad place right now and I don't know what Jerry will do. Keeping the current situation the way it is would be ridiculous. I say at the least get ol Stephen Mac in there for the rest of the year to see what he has.
4) I don't really care right now cause the Rangers are in the WORLD SERIES!

Funny thing is the Cowboys are out of it before the Rangers are! Rangers are in the World Series! Cowboys are freaking done!
I love it. I say go with Mcgee too. Kitna may have something, but why even try to save this year? Get rid of Wade, Garrett and all others, unfortunately for some of them. Jerry may need a real GM in here. We don't have too long to capitalize on the talent that's here. This is crazy.

Won't happen, but:
1. Fire Wade, promote Garrett for the rest of the year. Tell him if he goes 6-4, he might be retained.
2. Play the young guys. Cut some spare veterans to send a message and sit the so-called star veterans starting with Witten and Ware.
3. After the season, fire Garrett regardless of record and hire a fresh guy that knows where the damn asthma field is.

Rangers are in the World Series! Cowboys are freaking done! I love it. I don't understand this line of thinking. Aren't you a Cowboys fan? I'm really glad the Rangers are in the World Series. But it would be much better if the Cowboys were good. The two are mutually exclusive. The Cowboys don't have to suck for the Rangers to be good.

The Cowboys have been sacrificed to the baseball gods.

No, they have been poorly prepared and have no leaders.

Cowboys get all the attention around here...as they should.
It's time for a Rangers spotlight, and the Cowboys have just had the bad luck of stepping completely out of the way for baseball.

Agree.
But how much more awesome would it be if the Cowboys were 5-1 instead of 1-5?
the World Series would be just as cool. We would also have something to look forward to after we win the thing.

Yeah I wish the Cowboys were good too. I hope something happens that changes things up a little. The one thing I liked about Parcells is he didn't just try to find talent to put on his team, but "young" talent.

Regarding step 3, hire Nick Saban. Not sure Nick would get the job done, but it would piss off Bama fans and make the SEC West a little easier for the good guys.

Don't sacrifice the Cowboys for your personal gain.
