If we can remember maybe we can come back to this at the end of the year. Just the 12 teams to make the playoffs:
NFC Division Winners: SF, GB, NO, Dal NFC Wildcard: Atl, NYG
AFC Division Winners: NE, Balt, Indy, SD AFC Wildcard: Hou, Cincy

Finch's Bold Predictions
Yet another NFL season is upon us, time to put my neck out there and make some predictions.
I really can't make any picks on division winners mostly because I don't pay enough attention to the NFL to know about all the teams, but I will make a few calls about a few teams and the Super Bowl.
Jets: Without a doubt the most overrated team in my lifetime. Sure they made a nice playoff run, but they were 7-7 with two weeks to go in the season last year and played the Colts and Bengals; two teams that had already wrapped up their regular seasons and were resting their starters. Sanchez looked good in the playoffs but had a below average regular season and I'm still not convinced he is a great NFL QB. The defense will be great again, but the offense will struggle most of the season and the Jets will miss the playoffs at 8-8
Texans: Will win a Wild Card spot and win a playoff game. They have done such a horrible job of finishing games over the last few years, I figure they are due for a few lucky breaks to balance out their inability to get out of their own way.
Saints: I think they are going to have a bumpy year this season. They are a great team, but they got a ton of breaks last year, and they may not be so lucky this year. I think they still make the playoffs, but the Falcons will beat them out for the division.
Super Bowl: I'm going to go off the board just a tad...but not too much. Give me the Ravens and the Packers.
Ravens: I think they are one of the most improved teams in the NFL this year. Very balanced offense with a strong O-line, all the makings for a great NFL O. Aging defense but still better than most of league, and they won't have to be as dominate with the offense finally coming around.
Packers: Had a 12th man O-line last year and still won 11 games. They added a little more depth and with a little luck in the injury department should be one of the best teams in the NFL this year. They also have a very balanced attack like the Ravens. Defense is one of the best in the league and I don't see any reason why that will change this year.
Final: Packers 27 Ravens 24 in a Super Bowl for the ages.

I like your SB prediction. However I don't think the Packers are quite as balanced on offense as the Ravens. I think Rodgers will get up near 5000 passing yards this year. The Ravens added more WRs and still have Rice and Flacco. I can absolutely see them in the SB. I just know I don't want to see the Colts, Pats, any other team in the NFC East, and even the Saints in the SB this year.

Jay Ee Tee Ess. Jets. Jets. Jets.
They'll go to the AFC title game. That's my only prediction.

But they do have good enough running game when they need to control the clock.

I also agree that the Jets are overrated. They snuck into the playoffs last year after their slob of a coach said they were officially out of playoff contention. Idiot.

Great call on the packers and falcons and saints. Better than mine. I don't think Framp could be much more wrong. Although he was trying to guess division winners which is dang near impossible.
