In years past, you needed the spread to make it a challenge in weeks 1-5. This year may be different by judging from the game they picked. Either way, we're set.
I suck at this game.

There are a lot of games to pick. There have been bigger comebacks.

nice little week there, Craig.
What separated you from me was your Maryland over Navy pick. I still think Navy should have won that game...but they didn't.

Oh yea, Sully, I wrote this on the pick em board too but you and I are currently being screwed out of some points. If you look at the "group picks" page it shows us with more points than it does on the 'overview" page. I intestigated a little and we were not given the points for the very first game of the week between Mizz/Ill. You, being the commish, needs to get on this. I need all the points I can get early in the year.

yes, go Boise. I will say that late hit call on VT was pretty weak there at the end of the game.

There were some pretty bad calls both ways. Either way it wasn't a game changer.

I like that Kellen Moore. Clutch player right there.
I also enjoyed watching Navy play, they can run the ball like no team I have ever seen. If they could have held on to the ball Maryland wouldn't have had a chance. But thats the way football go right?

Kellen Moore is a player for sure. He throws that little loft pass right over the defender better than anyone I have ever seen.

Boise is a good team. Congratulations to them on beating an overranked VT. Tie-rod Taylor is a Dollar General version of Mike Vick with zero pocket presence. The two calls that went against VT on that winning drive were unfortunate. That was a block in the back and that PF was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. Boise would go 8-4 in SEC, 9-3 in the Big 10, and 10-2 in the Big 12. The one good thing about them now getting into the BCS Championship game would be to see a one loss Alabama, Ohio State, or Texas not qualify. If that ever happens, we will see a playoff system and teams from mid majors will no longer enjoy their free ride.

If that ever happens, we will see a playoff system and teams from mid majors will no longer enjoy their free ride. I couldn't agree more, which is why I am pulling for Boise this year. Although I don't believe VT is overrated, they have won 10 games each of the last six years, that's impressive no matter who you are. They just have a tendency to start the year off slow. If this game were played in November VT would have probably won. I also don't buy that Boise wouldn't fair as well in a better conference. Past teams yes, but this team is loaded with experience and more than a couple NFL players. I think this 2010 Boise team with Peterson at the helm would probably do well in any conference, including the SEC.

They looked like a solid solid team and I am going to have to agree with you Finch. I would have thought they were an big conference team had I not known who was playing. Actually every now and then I wasn't sure who was playing cause of the uniforms.
