Well I think I was only in one other year. I'm not touting a second place finish. .Im defending an accustation of being the worst picker. It wouuld not have some up if not for a false accusation.

Last year was my first year for college pick'em so if I did bad I blame it on rookie status however if I did decent then I'm a natural.

I don't think it was a false accusation at all.
Good luck this year. Hopefully you can win 2nd again. If I don't win, I hope you do.

You lost because of the spread. Our commisioner- Big money Sully and the rest of the Vegas big ballers insist on using the spread for the contest. For the record, I was against it.

The spread is necessary. I am enjoying pick em so far this year.

BSU will beat V tech, and it may not even be that close. There is no team better than Boise at getting up for a big game and Tech always starts the year off slow before figuring things out. Also Tech is something like 0-12 against top five teams away from Blacksburg under Beamer. Boise wins by at least a touchdown.

The spread is necessary. I am enjoying pick em so far this year. The spread is used to equalize teams for betting purposes. It turns a "pick 'em" contest into a virtual coin flip.

I would really rather have the pick em without the spread, but it doesn't matter all that much.
If it would have been without the spread, I'd have picked a lot differently.

the spread isnt necessary in this scenario because its all based on confidence points. and i meant the 'you suck ass' thing in the most positive, loving way that i could.

The coin I am flipping must be weighted wrong.

But I will say the spread isn't as necessary if the games we are picking are as evenly matched as these were this week. Last year it was just top 25 games and I think you have to have the spread then.
