My picks were made under duress. Internets are out at home. I forgot to make my picks before I left work Thursday. I was off yesterday and the FTW public library was closed. I ran (ie drove 30 minutes) to the office this morning only to discover Yahoo had been blocked AGAIN. This was at 10:30. So I ran to the Irving PL location in Valley Ranch...had to stinkin' make a reservatin even though there were 20 open computers. Finally logged in at 10:47. Pressed submit on both leagues at 10:54. This week is really going to suck.
Lock bet: Clemson. Miami hasn't won there since joining the ACC. It all started with an OT blunder years ago. I watched that game at Fischer's in College Station. Ever since then Miami hasn't won at Clemson or covered at home. I think that's going on 7 years now.

Les Miles sucks. Jefferson sucks. Lee isn't much better (sorry coach). That game looked all too familiar. Thats why I took Tenn.
I'm never going with USC to cover again. Its good to see Kiffin lose.
Kansas sucks. Baylor is on its way up.
OU/TX wasn't very entertaining. Got demoted for LSU/Tenn.
Heard NTSU missed an EP at the end to tie it. Shocking.
I like me some Stanford. Wish they could have pulled it off.
Nutt is hard to figure out.
VT needs to figure out who the are damnit.

Ok so I posted all this before the end of the Oregon/Stanford. Oregon ought to be embarrassed from having their fans rush the field. Luckily security stopped most of them. They are the number 4 team in the nation. Come on.

thanks guys. crazy thing is, i didnt even have that much confidence with the games this week.
and notice i lost because i put the points on Texas. so much for standing in solidarity with the state after the shooting on campus, thinking maybe that would light a fire under their asses to play football. wrong again. my first choice was OU. always trust the gut.
