That we could be watching the AL MVP, CY Young, Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year, and 3 Gold Glove winners (Ja Hamilton, Ja Cruz, and Ja Andrus) on the same frikken team?!

Cruz as a gold glover? Not sure about that. Lee is gonna need some run supports every now and then to get his win total up.
Question: is it possible for Big Game to be in the Cy young talk even though he missed a lot ofr the season? At what point does he qualify for such talk. I would think that if he keeps winning and keeps Ls off his record that at some point it would have to be talked about.
Right now as crazy as it sounds I think Cabrerra has the overall better numbers by a hair, but the fact that the Rangers are where they are give the edge back to Josh. (Imho)

Dude, have you seen Cruz lately? He's incredibly fast for his size. He tracks down fly balls that typical right fielders don't get to. He's got a cannon of an arm that's regarded as one of the best in baseball. He's a complete stud in right.
Ws don't mean a thing when you're leading the league in ERA, have a WHIP of 0.89, a K/BB ration of 16/1 and your nearest competition is 7/1, have 7 (that's SEVEN) walks, have thrown at least 8 inning 8 starts in a row, 6 complete games, 14 quality starts, and you've done this while being traded mid-season. The voters are smart enough to look past the Ws. If that were the case Rick Helling would have won it in '96 with a 4+ ERA.
Cabrera has better numbers but his team isn't in first place and could very well be a 3rd place team. Plus, he doesn't help his team on the field NEARLY as much as Josh does. Josh saves runs just by being Josh. People don't run on him. It's awesome that two of the top 5 OF arms in the AL are our corner outfielders. It's the MVP...not best hitter. IMO, the player most valuable to his team in the first half was Vlad and for the entire year it's Josh.

I understand what your saying and don't disagree but I just think stock is put in wins more than you think. I agree that when you put up a ridiculous era and whip and you don't have many wins, then its obviously not the pitchers fault. I do think that they hold the W category high.
Granted Cruz has made some good plays, he still makes dumb ones too and I just don't see him anywhere close to a goldglover. I will tell you someone who for sure won't win it: Bobby Abreu.

I'm still on the ledge...not sure if this thing has the legs to get out of the ALDS and I think they'll stumble into winning the west.
