www.aggieathletics.com/allaccess/?media=189140I doubt anyone really cares but I thought this was pretty good video of the Ags new DC. If you watch make sure to pay close attention at about the 0:36 mark. Number 76 is our true fish starting LT. Also saw Jake Matthews (son of Bruce and probably our starting RT for most of the season) on campus today. Kid is a freaking beast, I felt like Stubbs probably feels around normal size people when I was standing next to Jake.

Somehow I completely skipped over the tech fan paragraph. I think I read it but my brain was so shocked by what he wrote that it immediately knew it to be a lie and deleted it from my memory like it never happened.

For once, Richard Justice actually wrote a decent/accurate(kind of)/funny article. In other words, not complete garbage. No, it's still garbage. I hated him before his TCU bashing last year. His TCU hatred comes from the fact that his daughter muff-dives at Wyoming. He reminds me of a younger Randy Galloway...tries to be funny. Is passive-aggressively in your face. And sucks. A truly miserable humanoid. A good, respectful Ag such as yourself should be ashamed for falling for this. He'll be stabbing you in the back by midseason.

all that may be true, but it doesn't change the fact that the article is pretty spot on. His past and future work, or his stance on your school do not effect that fact.

Who is this guy and who does he write for? It beats me down when reading sports article when the writers try to be to cute and clever. It takes to long for them to get to the point cause they have to throw in a couple paragraph of ironic humor and their breakfast choice. Not that this guy did too much of it but thats just my observation recently.

That is kind of their job.
Otherwise we would be reading box scores and stat lines.

Oh, and you pretty much just said you hate the print version of the radio station you are obsessed with.

When I read something I want their thoughts on whatever I am reading. I dont want over the top jibber jabber that doesnt have to do with what I want to read about. The example of the radio station I listen to is an awful one. I listen to the radio station for entertainment and really dont know what I'm gonna hear everyday. I read an article cause I want some information on a specific subject. I dont want it to be bland and boring but stop trying to be so clever.

I think the radio station comparison is perfect.
The article you read is the print version of the ticket.
A few sports thoughts, mixed in with some humor and some unaffiliated thoughts.
That is exactly what has made the ticket so popular. Why the double standard for the newspaper? Also, Justice writes an opinion column. Its his job to do that.

Cause I dont read articles all day for entertainment, I read them for specific information. If you listened to the ticket all day for specific information sometimes you may end up disappointed. The ticket is just entetainment where you can hear sports and humor while being entertained. I dont need to be entertained when looking for some sports input. Like this: first three paragraphs lead up to his fantasy football draft tips. sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/football/ffl/story?page=nfldk2k10vbd

Richard Justice writes a column for entertainment purposes. Its not an in depth sports analysis either.
Same with any opinion columnist

Well maybe we are talking about different types of reads.
