But you're starting to see my point right? The big 12 south was the shit in '08 so even though the stats might be slightly better in '10 it's because they aren't playing near the competition they were back then. Look at who Baylor played back then and this years schedule. Hard to say, even though the North still sucked this year, the North in '08 was a complete joke. There wasn't one decent team in the North that year, and not all the South teams played the same North teams.

Figured it out, it says passing in the corner so it's just pass defense but still it was better in 2008.

That's what I mean about competition being better cause they all played eachother making it really hard on ok st and baylor to win games when the other teams are not just better in the big 12 south but all around best teams in the nation.

To be honest, even though the stats slightly favor my argument, they are pretty much worthless. There are so many factor invovled and stats simply can't tell the whole story. Here is my break down
'08 - '10
OU > OU tu >>>> tu tt >> tt OSU < OSU BU < BU A&M <<<<<<<<<<< A&M
I have to say I think it's pretty much dead even, with maybe a slight edge going to the '08 South.

Also on Baylor this year they won 7 games. 4 of those games were against Buffalo, sam houston state, rice and kansas (who i thought was terrible).
Then they get shalacked by a crappy Big 10 team, or so you guys tell me, Illinois.
The 3 decent teams they beat were Texas (who I thought was really bad) K-state who they beat by 5 and colorado who they beat by 7.

You have swayed me, I still think this years South was about as tough as it's ever been, but I will give the '08 south the slight edge. Well done sir.
Now on to the Big 10 v Big 12. I say the Big12 is better, and it's probably not even close.

Hahaha, man to be honest I don't have the time or energy for that one. If it's cool I'll give this one to you and Fischer but when next year rolls around we'll keep track. If you really want me to I'll post something like Fischer did but like I said that would be it, if you say it looks like crap I'll just nod.

This is really the first time I've used it this extensively. God what a whipping. I think I'll stick with the guy who yells loudest wins.

nice to see you two kissing and making up.
Doyle, just to be sure...
I thought I was clear, but evidently you took it the wrong way.
08 texas and ou teams > 10 teams 08 and 10 players = push with 10 players.
I never said the teams were a push. I said the quality of players in the league were a push.

I can't believe Luck is staying in school. I don't see the benefits of this decision. Unless it has to do with the possible strike. Why risk a career ending injury when you are going to be the number one pick? Almost backfired for Samuel Bradford although it worked out nicely for him. I just don't get it. If its school you want to finish then you will have plenty of time and money once you retire to knock out that last year.

Maybe he wants to win a MNC and a heisman. I would probably take the money and the league. But Luck comes from a very wealthy family. He is going to have a degree from Stanford and will be rich no matter what. Big time college football players have insurance policies that pay huge benefits for injuries. If he were to have a career ending injury, he would receive millions.
Money isn't everything to some people...especially people who already have a lot of it.
Also, Bradford wasn't going to be the no. 1 pick in the draft.
