Alright you guys say oklahoma state is head and shoulders above the '08 version right? Well in '08 I say they were pretty much the exact same team. Instead of Blackmon you had some guy named Dez Bryant who wasn't suspended. I think their QB was a little better then by a hair. Some Zac guy? I don't want to look it up. They finished the season 9-4 and number 16 in the country.
So let's stay on them. Go.

Sorry I said "you guys again". I believe both of you are saying Ok St. is better, if wrong then I apologize.

They ended this year 11-2 but we won't know final rankings till the end of the bowl games but I would say around 15. Why the better record? Well they didn't play three 11-1 teams like "someone" mentioned earlier. Weaker Big 12 South, better record with pretty much the same team they had in '08. That's how I look at it.

Now I know why you guys want to forget 2008. That was one of the worst years for Aggie football ever I think, ouch.

After looking at Baylor I think they were just as good in 2008 if not better back then. They only won 4 games, sounds shitty right? Well I think they lost more games cause again the Big 12 south was better in my opinion. Griffin won big 12 Freshman of the year that year, who cares I guess. Well look at their losses.
Lost 2 games to teams in the top 23. Lost 4 games to teams in the top 10 and some of them were a lot closer than I would have thought. They lost to #14 Mizzou by 3 and lost to Texas by only 7.
The only other 2 loses were Nebraska at Nebraska and then Uconn which is not very good, but it was by 3 points.

'08 OSU O - 488 ypg 40 ppg
'10 OSU O - 521 ypg 44 ppg
Not a huge difference, but this years O was still better
'08 OSU D - 406 ypg 28 ppg
'10 OSU D - 412 ypg 27 ppg
Slightly worse in yards, but slightly better in points.
It's pretty close, a lot closer than I thought, but in terms of stats the '10 is slightly better than the '08 team.

So here is my final opinion.
2008 2010 oklahoma > oklahoma sexat > tu texas tech > tech ok st. = ok st baylor = baylor A&M < A&M

So your taking the victory on Ok ST? By stats that are almost the exact same?

In 2008 they allowed 267.7 yards a game In 2010 they allowed 275.8 yards a game
Defense was better then so didn't have to score as much. Same team.

Yes, it's close, but by stats alone the '10 was just a c hair better than the '08 team.

Baylor '08
O - 376 ypg 28 ppg D - 393 ypg 29 ppg
'10
O - 475 31 D - 427 29
Another close one, but the '10 team has the slight edge.

Yes, it's close, but by stats alone the '10 was just a c hair better than the '08 team. Yeah but I found def stats saying 08 was better. cfbstats.com is where I went. Plus my point is they might seem better this year cause competition isn't as strong. That is my whole point.

But you're starting to see my point right? The big 12 south was the shit in '08 so even though the stats might be slightly better in '10 it's because they aren't playing near the competition they were back then.
Look at who Baylor played back then and this years schedule.

Oklahoma State, that's why I was wondering where you got your stats. Yours seems like the correct stats.
