Stubbs informed all on facebook that his favorite sports event of the year was the college baseball selection show. I argued that this was dumb but then realized that it was his personal preference and I can't argue what he likes. I do however want to ask the question: Has anyone alse heard mention of this by him in all these years or did it become his favorite event this year? Stubbs feel free to defend yourself.

I wouldn't rank that in the top 100. Almost every sporting event I can think of is better.
But to answer your question, no I've never heard mention of this.
Ags have to go to Miamuh to play. Will be very tough.

No, you fool, I was referring to the baseball tournament. I love the Road to Omaha. It's a soap opera for baseball enthusiasts. Although, they've found a way to rape it of its purity by making it so dad-gummed long.

I like the tourney a lot, too. College baseball is great. I also agree that its too danged long.

Stubbs you did a swell job at defending yourself. I went back and read it and it said something along the lines of "road to Omaha selection show.......my favorite time of the year is right around the corner." I deciphered it wrong. I do love the college baseball tourny, I just wish baseball has more exposure all year. But personally I wouldn't rank it in the top 5.

I have finally realized that less is more...
I love the format until you get to the Series. It used to be a straight double-elimination bracket. Then they went to round-robin. Then it went back to double-elimination until the championship game which became a one-game playoff. Then they did a 3-game championship series which is what I think they do now. I think the saying used to be "7 days in Omaha." Now it's a "Month of Sundays in Omaha...then another week if we get to the championship series." I personally hate it. It kills pitching. Remember the championship game several years ago? I think it was FSU and USC and the final score was something like 20-13. That's not baseball. Plus, it would suck to spend a good chunk of your vacation time in Omaha is you stayed the whole time. If the Frogs make it I'm going to try to do a 3-day trip or something,
