I'll get that pic up in a few minutes. Just emailed it to myself.
The weekend was a blast. We cleaned up around the house a shit load. Got the tall grass/weeds all mowed down, cleaned out all this shit in the house and got rid of a bunch of bugs and mice. The dude that was on it before was a trash ball.
Couple of highlights:
1. Finch basically claimed the Keystone Light Unsmooth Moment on the first night ever of the lease by burning his hand on the grill. It'll be tough to beat that one, but if something does beat it, it was the same suspect just one night later.
2. Fischer's misstep in shooting the rattler gets the honorable mention. That thing was slivering in front of us for about 5 minutes and he couldn't get a shell loaded.
3. I blew Finch and Fischer away in clay shooting, getting 26-28. I think they were in the 18-28 range, which is still respectable.
4. Finch nailed a jackrabbit from about 80 yards with his .223 hanging out the window of his truck. Best shot I've seen. Right through the ear hole. DRT. Only killing of the weekend. So, he's leading the Shiner Bock Hunter of the Year race, which we'll explain later.
5. I got to shoot by new rifle finally, and like it. Also set up 3 feeders and two cameras.
6. Saw several deer while driving around. 2 bucks at least, but antlers are just growing in.
7. Saw a blackbuck twice.
8. Almost started a camp fire.
9. Ran out of beers midday yesterday...
10. Got to fish for about an hour, and added to the LAOY totals. Fishing is great there.
